“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response.
In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”

About Amy
Thank you for visiting my website. I hope to give you enough information here about me and my practice so that you can make an informed decision about this journey you’re about to go on.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience, and I truly love what I do. Clients often describe me as especially compassionate, open, and accepting. I bring a warm, direct, and collaborative approach to therapy—offering honest reflections and sharing my thoughts openly to help move the process forward.
I view therapy as a partnership. Together, we’ll explore what’s not working in your life and identify meaningful, realistic changes. My goal is to tailor our work to what best fits your needs, preferences, and goals.
My approach is grounded in attachment theory, which helps us understand how early relationships shape current patterns of behavior and connection. From there, I integrate tools from a variety of evidence-based modalities, including:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Mindfulness-based strategies
Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)
In addition, I am a Certified Trauma Therapy Specialist, and I bring a trauma-informed lens to all aspects of my work. Whether you're navigating relationship challenges, emotional struggles, or past experiences that continue to affect your present, I’m here to support your process with care and clarity.
I offer both in person and telehealth appointments. I also belong to PSYPACT and can see clients who live in other states who are participating members of this interstate compact group.
